Dynamic, global manufacturer that is experiencing strong growth has an immediate need for an Assistant Controller (Manufacturing) at a Division headquarters. This position is part of the Strategic Leadership Team. The Assistant Controller is responsible for directing some the company's financial plans and policies, preparation of financial analysis of operations, financial statements, supporting schedules and financial reporting. This position involves supervision over general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls. Located just north of the Towson, MD area.

Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results; drive excess expense and capital out of the business; generate information and reports as needed, provide billing documentation and maintain constant contact with the customer to ensure timely collections and favorable working capital, capital expenditure tracking, reconcile the G?L, comply with FLSA guidelines, provide job cost information to senior staff. You will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts. Provide financial modeling. Inter-company activity analysis. Implementation of Cost Controls and Cost Reductions initiatives.

Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA, and/or a CPA would be a plus. You should have 5-10 years of relevant manufacturing accounting & finance experience. Should be strong in US GAAP, International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS). Large company experience ( Fortune 500) is a plus. You must have DCAA / DCMA experience. You should have Government Accounting experience, FAR, DFAR, MFG Pro and government contracts compliance experience. You should have strong Job Cost Accounting & Project Based Accounting experience, consolidations experience, general manufacturing plant accounting, G/L, A/P, financial reporting, supervision, forecasting, strategy development, capital expenditure analysis and tracking, budget development and implementation experience. You should have documented success in developing staff. You should have solid influential communication skills, enjoy a high quality-of-life environment.
