Description:

Dynamic, strong growth company is looking for a Supervising Senior Accountant with a focus on compiling, analysis, and reporting information as it pertains to the accounting functions for one of their divisions. This is a highly visible position that will interact with the division -’s strategic leadership.

The Supervising Senior Accountant is responsible for wall to wall accounting for the division including analyzing the division's financial performance monthly, preparing financial statements, budget results analysis and developing recommendations on process improvements. Identifies risk and opportunities. Analyzes variances from plan. Provides senior management with forecast updates.
o Reconciles all balance sheet accounts monthly
o Analyze variances in unit's metrics and results & trends
o Responsible for monthly inventory reconciliation, journal entries, etc.
o Assists with annual budget process and the Capital Project planning process
o Assists with seasonal and annual profit plans...improves processes and maintains internal controls
o Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making
o Summarize and report business results to leadership on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o Maintain a system of Key Performance Indicators and drive business ownership for results
o Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and systems
o Assists with the monthly, seasonal and annual fiscal closing process
o Oversee the preparation and review of financial and operational analysis

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
o MBA a plus...CPA is a plus
o Looking for 2-6 years of experience in accounting in a public accounting or industry role.
o Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
o Proven Microsoft Excel skills
o Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
o Experience with multiple unit accounting is a plus
o Experience with A/P & A/R
