Dynamic, strong growth company has an immediate need for a Tax Accountant at a Divisional Headquarters in Orlando! This position is responsible for Sales & Use Tax Compliance & Filings. You could assist for time to time in most of the organization's tax matters including federal, state, multi-state, sales & use, payroll, partnership tax matters, etc. . You will be responsible for the preparation of Sales & Tax returns, including fixed asset reconciliations. You will gather data for the quarterly tax provision.

You will respond to inquiries of sales & use tax issues. Insures that appropriate transactions are made as necessary. Assist the Tax Manager and audit team on preparation of schedules for various federal, state and local tax credits and incentives like federal research & development credit, FL employment tax credit, etc. You will handle and direct special tax-related projects as they arise, with a focus on Sales & Use Taxes.

Requirements:
BS degree in Accounting, an MS-Tax would be a plus. A CPA would be a plus. Knowledge of Sales & Use Taxes for Florida and other states. Knowledge of general US corporate income tax. Strong analytical skills. Must have experience with Sales & Use Taxes. State Gross Tax Receipts, Payroll and Property taxes, FAS 109/FIN48 experience a plus. You must be promotable.

Must be able to deal with multiple levels of people inside and outside the department. You should have 2-5 years relevant Sales & Use tax experience. ***BIG 4 or Public Accounting tax experience a plus***.
