Dynamic, strong growth organization has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager at a Business Unit headquarters in Austin, TX! The Accounting Manager reports to the Group Controller. This position is part of the Strategic Accounting Leadership Team.
You will work on the group's (division's) accounting functions including A/P, A/R, Billing & Collections, Sales & Property Taxes, the financial reporting process, financial statements, work with the budget process, and ad hoc analysis reporting. You will assist with the monthly close process, audit and taxation compliance analysis.

Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results; drive excess expense and capital out of the business; manage the production of daily internal management reports, cost management strategies, division accounting functions, assist with the Acquisition integration, financial and variance analysis; internal financial reporting, and work with outside auditors. You will assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual internal reports & forecasts. Implementation of Cost Controls and Cost Reductions initiatives.

Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA, and/or a CPA are a plus. You should have 7-12 years of relevant industry accounting & reporting experience. BIG 4 and/or Public Accounting experience could be a plus. SOX 404 experience would be a plus. Any Great Plains experience is a plus. You should have ERP system experience. You should have strong internal report development experience, consolidations experience, G/L, A/P, A/R, Billing & Collections, financial reporting, forecasting, budget development and implementation experience.
