Dynamic, strong growth manufacturer has an immediate need for an Assistant Corporate Controller. This position is part of the Corporate Strategic Leadership Team. Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results; drive excess expense and capital out of the business; manage the closing cycle, cost management strategies, division accounting functions, cash flow management, process re-engineering, standard cost accounting system maintenance, new product costing & pricing; financial and variance analysis; capital expenditure, financial reporting, and inventory control. You will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts. Manage and develop Group Accounting & Finance Department. You will lead and coordinate the Annual Budget Forecasting Process. Implementation of Cost Controls and Cost Reductions initiatives.
Duties include:
* Serve as key contact for operating units Controllers regarding company policies & procedures or questions involving financial reporting or accounting activities.
* Work directly with operating units to test internal controls within operations.
* Participate in M&A target analysis and integration efforts
* Analyze actual results, metrics, forecasts, and ad hoc data for variances and trends.
* Review, finalize and report on budgets, forecasts, results, etc.
* GAAP/FASB and SOX compliance.
* Provide financial business analysis of the operations.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA is required. An MBA is preferred. You should have 10-15 years of relevant accounting experience in a financially driven organization. Public Accounting experience is a plus. You should have strong manufacturing accounting experience, consolidations experience, M&A target analysis experience, financial reporting, forecasting, strategy development, capital expenditure analysis and tracking, SEC reporting experience, budget development and implementation experience. You should have documented success in developing staff. You should have solid influential communication skills, enjoy a high quality-of-life environment. You must be willing to travel often domestically and internationally.
