Dynamic, strong growth consumer products organization is looking for a "Financial Analyst I" with a focus on analysis of logistics costs, multi-site profit analysis, compiling analysis and reporting information as it pertains to the profitability of individual products nationally for one of their divisions. This is a highly visible position that will interact with the corporate, plants, and with the division's strategic leadership.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing the division's costs by product and by category, preparing financial statements, analysis of the budget results and developing recommendations on process improvements. You will identify risk and opportunities. Analyzes variances from plan. Provides senior management with forecasts & projections and performance reporting.
o Analyze the division's profitability & make recommendations for improvement opportunities
o Analyze variances in manufacturing metrics and results
o Responsible for monthly inventory analysis - In-Transit and On Hand
o Assists with annual budget process
o Assists with quarterly profit plans...develops and maintains internal controls
o Performs ad-hoc cost/financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making
o Summarize and report business results to leadership on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o Maintain a system of Key Performance Indicators and drive business ownership for results
o Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and systems
o Assists with the monthly fiscal closing process
o Oversee the preparation and review of financial and operational analysis

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
o MBA or CPA or CMA would be a plus.
o At least 1-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Cost Accounting, Budget analysis, and/or Product Performance Analysis
o Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities....experience with integrated manufacturing systems
o Proven cost accounting and/or financial analysis skills
o Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
o Ability to build partnerships across functions
o Proven analysis skills in product performance
