Dynamic, rapidly growing company is looking for a Financial Analyst (Manufacturing Operations) with a focus on plant cost accounting analysis, analysis and reporting information as it pertains to the plant accounting & cost accounting functions. This is a position that will interact with the plant's and with the division's strategic financial leadership.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing the financial performance monthly by plant and by total division, preparing financial statements of the plant, analysis of the cost accounting function, budget results analysis and developing recommendations on process improvements. You will identify risk and opportunities. Analyzes variances from plan. Provides senior management with cost forecast & projections and performance reporting.
o Analyze the division's profitability...by plant, by product, etc
o Analyze product costs, analyze variances in manufacturing metrics and results
o Responsible for monthly inventory on hand analysis
o Assists with annual budget process
o Assists with quarterly profit plans...develops and maintains internal controls
o Performs ad-hoc analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making
o Summarize and report business results to leadership on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o Maintain a system of Key Performance Indicators and drive business results
o Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and systems
o Assists with the monthly fiscal closing process
o Oversee the preparation and review of financial and operational analysis

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
o MBA or CMA would be a plus...manufacturing industry experience required.
o At least 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting and plant accounting
o Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities....experience with integrated manufacturing systems
o Proven cost accounting & financial analysis skills
o Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
o Ability to build partnerships across functions
o Proven analysis skills in plant accounting performance
