Dynamic, strong growth manufacturer is looking for a Financial Analyst (Sales Support Group) with a focus on compiling, analysis, and reporting information as it pertains to supporting Sales & Marketing function for one of their business units. This is a highly visible position that will interact with the division's strategic leadership team. You will have some travel to the company's locations.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing the division's financial performance monthly, customer profitability analysis, product profitability analysis, budget results analysis and developing recommendations on process improvements. Identifies risk and opportunities. Analyzes variances from plan. Provides senior management with cost projections and performance reporting.
o Analyze the division's profitability...by customer, by product, etc.
o Analyze product costs, analyze variances in manufacturing metrics and results
o Responsible for trend analysis by location, by product
o Assists with annual budget process and the Capital Project planning process
o Assists with seasonal and annual profit plans...develops and maintains internal controls
o Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making
o Summarize and report business results to leadership on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o Maintain a system of Key Performance Indicators
o Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and systems
o Oversee the preparation and review of financial and operational analysis

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
o MBA and/or a CPA would be a plus...manufacturing industry experience preferred.
o At least 2-5 years of experience in audit, accounting analysis, and/or financial analysis
o Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities....experience with integrated manufacturing systems
o Proven financial analysis project skills
o Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
o Ability to build partnerships across functions
o Proven analysis skills in plant accounting performance
