Dynamic, Fortune 500 level global, strong growth Oil & Gas organization has immediate needs in the Internal Control/ Internal Audit Group. This is a high potential managerial position with low travel! High visibility, strong career track within the company, diverse accounting-finance-operational promotional opportunities characterize this opportunity. The position currently open is for a Manager of Internal Audit/Internal Controls. Reports to Director of Internal Audit and will focus on managing the company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program.

You will focus on documentation of internal controls systems and testing under Section 404 of the Sarbanes0Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). You will also focus on risk assessments, operational process reviews, corporate accounting internal controls, develop conclusions about the effectiveness of the controls that are in place. You will incorporate new locations and new finance processes into existing internal controls compliance program. Perform special projects and presentations as needed.


Requirements:

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. A CPA is preferred. You should have 6-10 years of relevant experience - preferably coming directly from a large, global manufacturer.....any BIG 4 + industry experience would be a plus. You should have the ability to use PC-based automated software tools, proficiency with spreadsheets, project management exposure, risk-based assessments, have proven SOX compliance experience, and have polished communication skills. Experience managing a company's SOX compliance program is preferred.
