Dynamic, Fortune 500 level global, strong growth Oil & Gas and Energy products manufacturer has immediate needs in the Internal Control/ Internal Audit Group for a Project Manager. This is a high potential managerial position! You will enjoy high visibility, a strong career track within the company, and diverse accounting-finance-operational promotional opportunities! The position currently open is for a Project Manager Internal Audit. Reports to Director of Internal Audit and will focus on managing the company's internal audit projects worldwide. Travel will only average 10-20%.
You will focus on audit reviews in many areas such as inventory management, purchasing, sales processes, treasury and payroll. You will oversee teams of 2-6 auditors. You will identify potential control risks. Support and lead continuous improvement efforts within the audit function. You will also focus on special projects, risk assessments, operational process reviews, corporate accounting internal controls. You will incorporate new locations and new finance/audit control processes into existing internal controls compliance program. Perform special ad hoc projects and presentations as needed.

Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. A CPA is preferred. You should have 5-10 years of relevant experience - preferably coming directly from a large, global manufacturer.....BIG 4 + industry experience would be a plus. You should have the ability to use PC-based automated software tools, proficiency with spreadsheets, project management exposure, risk-based assessments, have proven SOX compliance experience, and have polished communication skills. SAP R2 or R3 experience is a plus.
