Progressive, strong growth Oil & Gas industry-leading organization has an immediate need for a SR. Financial Analyst in the Houston Finance Group. This is a high visibility, vertical career- track within the company, and accelerated promotional opportunities also characterizes this opportunity.

You will focus on operations analysis, results analysis, financial analysis, trend analysis, financial data analysis, financial systems analysis, operational issues analysis & solutions, risk assessments, operational process reviews, evaluate internal controls, develop conclusions about the effectiveness of the processes, products, and projects. Perform special projects and presentations to US Business Unit Financial & Operational Leadership as needed.

Responsibilities include providing management with the strategic tools and reports to drive business results, drive excess expense and capital out of the business, operational & control processes analysis, strategic planning, budgeting & budget results analysis, forecasting, expense analysis, financial modeling, financial and variance analysis, financial reporting, special project analysis.

Requirements:
You should have a BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business ... an MBA is a plus, a CPA is preferred. You should have 5-10 years of experience in BIG 4 or Public Accounting with Oil & Gas accounts, and/or a large Oil & Gas company. You should have solid financial analysis, assurance/audit, operations analysis, financial modeling, financial statement analysis, forecasting, financial statement analysis, project analysis, budget development & analysis experience.

You should have strong influential and polished communication skills. Any Hyperion, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Excel, or Access experience is a plus. Base salary of $70-95k + Bonus opportunities, a Fortune 500 level benefit and retirement packages. This is a very high quality-of-life environment.
