Dynamic, strong growth, industry-leading company has an immediate need for a SR. Divisional Accountant at a Division HQ in Houston. This is for a Oil & Gas/Energy manufacturer. The SR. Divisional Accountant reports to the Division Controller with a dotted line to the Division GM. This position is part of the Strategic Division Finance Group. You will work on the division's accounting functions (focus on Consolidation & GL), the financial reporting process, budget process, and ad hoc reporting. You will assist with the monthly close process, journal entry processing, audit compliance support. You need strong consolidation experience, general ledger experience, analysis experience. Any foreign currency experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results; drive excess expense and capital out of the business; manage the production of daily internal management reports, cost management strategies, division accounting functions, assist with the Acquisition integration, financial and variance analysis; internal financial reporting, and work with outside auditors. You will assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual internal reports & forecasts. Implementation of Cost Controls and Cost Reductions initiatives.

Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA would be a plus and a CPA would be a plus. You should have 3-8 years of BIG 4, Public Accounting or relevant industry accounting & reporting experience. Any large company experience ( Fortune 500) is a plus. Any JD Edwards, Oracle Financials or SAP experience is a plus. You should have strong general ledger experience, consolidations experience, financial reporting, forecasting including rolling forecasts, budget development & analysis of results experience. You should have solid influential communication skills, enjoy a high quality-of-life environment.
