SR Regional FP&A Analyst

Dynamic, industry-leader global company is looking for "fast-track" SR. Regional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP & A) Analyst for one of their most profitable business units. This is a highly visible position that will interact with the companies and regions strategic leadership.
The SR. Regional Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is responsible for analyzing the financial performance, preparing financial statements of the region, establishing budgetary goals and developing recommendations on profit, consolidating the financial forecasts, expense and cost saving opportunities, high level financial & business analysis. Identifies risk and opportunities. Analyzes variances from plan. Provides corporate and region executives with short & long range plans, cost projections and performance reporting.
o Drive the region's profitability & performance
o Analyze sales & business trends, promotional strategies and other business initiatives
o Analyze & drive key functional financial metrics and results
o Coordinate annual budget process and the Capital Project planning process
o Responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting (FP&A)
o Performs ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making
o Summarize and report business results to leadership on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o Develop and maintain a system of Key Performance Indicators and drive business ownership for results
o Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial statements and systems
o Plays a key role in teaching & training region's finance staffs
o Oversee the preparation and review of financial and operational analysis

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
o MBA preferred
o At least 4-8 years of experience in accounting, budgeting and financial analysis (FP & A)
o Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities
o Proven leadership skills with the ability to build a powerful team of financial professionals
o Prefer "field finance" experience at division or regional level
o Ability to build partnerships across functions
o Proven analysis skills in multi-state business situations
