Description:

Dynamic, progressive, industry-leader is looking for "fast-track" Financial Analysis "FP&A" Manager for one of their most profitable business units. This is a high visibility position that will interact extensively with the company leadership.

The Financial Analysis & Planning Manager is responsible for analyzing the financial performance, establishing budgetary goals and developing recommendations on profit, expense and cost saving opportunities. Collects, aggregates and monitors costs. Identifies risk and opportunities. Analyzes variances from plan. Provides corporate and unit executives with long range plans, cost projections and performance reporting.

o Lead a team focused on analyzing the unit's profitability
o Analyze sales trends, promotional strategies and other business initiatives
o Coordinate annual budget process and the brand growth planning process
o Develop seasonal and annual profit plans that link financial plans with the inventory and merchandise plans
o Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making
o Summarize and report business results to leadership on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
o M&A candidate analysis & pre-screening
o Manage the monthly, seasonal and annual fiscal closing process
o Oversee the preparation and review of financial and operational analysis

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
o MBA preferred
o At least 6-10 years of experience in accounting, budgeting and financial analysis - combination of BIG 4 and industry experience is preferred.
o Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities , M&A pre-secreening experience
o Proven leadership skills with the ability to build a powerful team of financial professionals
o Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
o Ability to build partnerships across functions
o PC skill proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
