Must Have Skills: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. 5 years of direct experience in a financial analyst position, including budgeting and variance analysis, financial planning and pricing. MBA Preferred. CPA a plus. Advanced Excel and strong overall MS Office skills. SX Enterprise Software, FrX and Hyperion a plus.

Description:

Responsible for day-to-day activities associated with financial analysis and financial planning with a focus on controlling costs, growing sales, managing cash flow and providing management with high quality, insightful, actionable financial information.

Also responsible for managing the pricing of all domestic and international products in addition to understanding Company -’s and customers -’ profitability and monitoring as conditions change and develop.

Role/Responsibilities:

Detailed analysis of monthly financial results
Analysis of spending levels with the goal of identifying ways to reduce costs and/or increase efficiency; includes monitor spending through purchase orders approvals.
Coordination of the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan and the maintenance/update of periodic financial forecasts.
Ongoing monitoring and analysis of Company pricing, including analysis of changing costs and profitability. Support sales team by analyzing pricing for new products and special versions of existing products
Tracking and analysis of key balance sheet line items.
Assist with financial planning, including the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of a monthly financial forecasting model.
Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, including analysis of ending balances and monthly activity, as needed.
Self-starter with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a casual, fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability to changing needs.
Provide insight into the operational drivers of financial results to guide management to identify cost reduction and sales growth opportunities
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving expertise.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work with all levels of management, including the owners of the company.
