RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Global management and oversight of multiple Equity projects/initiatives
*Has direct (and matrix) management of multiple project managers
**Partner closely with Middle office, Finance, Operations, and COO teams and technology partners to define/re-define business processes and implement related technology solutions.
*Responsible for front to back project planning and coordination
*Manages the regional and global program `book of work` and reporting
*Defines the deliverables and goals of the global program
*Identifies, manages and drives to resolution issues
*Responsible for all change in the program and driving it to completion
*Resolve cross project issues at a regional/global program level including resource balancing
*Is the primary focal point for the Equity IT relationship for delivery
*Creation of Metrics/KPIs for continuous monitoring and management of workstreams
BUSINESS PRODUCT EXPERIENCE:
15 years of experience in the following:
*Cash/Cash ADR
*Program trading
*Electronic trading
*Convertible bonds
*Systematic trading
*Listed futures
*Quant PB (Prime services)
*Synthetic PB (Prime services)
*Cash PB (Prime services)
*Flow/structured derivatives
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
*MS Office (2000-2007) 7 to 10 years
*MS Visio 5+ years
*MS Project 5+ years
*Trading, execution, processing platforms 15 years
QUALIFICATIONS:
*College degree required
*Former consulting background from top 5 organization, highly desirable
*Strong knowledge of equity cash securities processing, from trade capture through to GL processing
*Strong understanding of financial processes
-Ability to articulate full product life cycle and understanding Trade lifecycle
-Experience in Middle office/finance/operations re-engineering initiatives
-Understanding of business unit control functions and corporate reporting
-Must have ability to apply strategic thinking to multiple, complex organizational and business issues
-Ability to translate into practical plans for project execution
-Broad business experience in defining business and systems requirements for corporate-wide app's.
*Previous experience in systems development
-Sub-ledger, P&L, or General ledger experience required.
-Equities, derivatives or related experience a strong plus.
-Ability to architect business and software solutions and define related requirements
*Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
-Ability to bridge communication amongst technologies and between BA's and technologists
-Ability to work across business groups and in a team environment
*Ability to lead and drive change
-Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
-High sense of urgency with ability to drive results
*6+ years performing business analysis/definition and PM to support large projects and business change
*Experience running large programs
*Have proven requirement and process definition and documentation skills, with ability to handle diverse workload and tight schedules
*Ability to drive to clusure, reputation for execution
*Strong Risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills
