Must Have Skills: - CPA - 6+ years (4-5 years with large public accounting firm with 1-2 years at a publicly traded company preferred) - Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting - Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition and share-based compensation - E*Trade’s Equity Edge option tracking software (or equivalent) - Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act and related requirements - Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; and large ERP software packages (Oracle preferred)
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Description:

- Prepare and distribute financial statements for external use.
- Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Prepare, maintain and file (and Edgarize / XBRL) all SEC documents, including the Annual Report to Shareholders, 10-K, 10-Qs, 8-Ks and Proxy.
- Prepare and maintain all supporting documentation for financial statements and related footnotes.
- Prepare the statements of cash flows and shareholders - -’ equity.
- Manage the earnings release process, including the drafting of Press Releases (financial portions) and preparation (and posting of) of the GAAP to Non-GAAP reconciliation.
- Assist with the establishment of accounting policies and procedures.
- Help manage the external review and audit processes.
- Assist in the creation of presentations/materials for the Audit Committee/Board of Directors.
- Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures, including managing the documentation and testing of our controls with internal and external resources (e.g., auditors, consultants).
- Generate reports from Equity Edge to support all share calculations, including those necessary for Basic and Diluted EPS, share-based compensation (formerly FAS 123R) footnote and tax journal entries.
- Record all option and ESPP activity in the General Ledger, including option exercises and stock-based compensation expense.
- Value stock options within Equity Edge, ensure assumptions continue to be reasonable, and compute and record all share-based compensation related entries.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc reports as needed.
