Must Have Skills: • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis/major in accounting. MBA preferred • CPA • 3+ years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years of public accounting, in a Big Four firm. • Knowledge of regulatory accounting principles (GAAP, SEC, and SAP).
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Description:

Under general direction, performs most advanced accounting functions involving the practical application of established accounting standards, theories, principles and practices.

- Responsible for the preparation, analysis and evaluation of subsidiary general ledgers.
- Prepares and maintains highly complex operating and financial reports.
- Ensures the preparations of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements are
completed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and
statutory accounting principles (SAP) including footnote disclosure.
- Performs advanced financial analyses and special projects as required by financial
management. May interface and maintain relationships with outside auditors and
public accounting firms.
