Description:

Leading global online service provider seeks seasoned analytical hands-on manager to grow a team. You will be joining a new division focused on bringing to market a set of behavioral targeting products that optimize online advertising for leading retailers.

This position is responsible for unlocking the value of data by leading data mining efforts. Responsibilities will include development of an incremental response methodology, multivariate testing, and systematic exploration of alternate data preparation and modeling approaches to optimize profit, as well as segmentation and automatic text classification. You will be growing and managing a team.

To qualify for this exciting position you will need:
* Education: BA/BS degree, advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Operations preferred
* Overall Experience: 5+ years of experience in applied data mining and modeling, management experience required
- Experience in online behavioral advertising
- Substantial experience with one or more of the major data mining toolsets (SAS EM, SPSS Clementine, KXEN AF) and linear or logistic regression
- Ability to oversee development and develop in SQL, scripting languages, etc.
- Strong understanding of the data mining techniques (clustering, decision trees, SVM)
- Expertise in model design, variable selection and analytic record construction

- Experience with automated text/web classification is a plus
