The Director of Media Analytics and Insights will oversee all Digital and Direct Marketing analysis, research, and insight generation while managing and growing the group. This position advances the understanding of online and direct marketing dynamics through developing critical business insights across our clients to increase the effectiveness and ROI across media investments.



Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and act as the SME for media strategy and placement with a focus on media testing, media mix, target audience profiling, consumer insights, competitive understanding integrating online and offline media

- Present an in-depth and fresh understanding of media analysis across clients

- Establish thought leadership and tool development to elevate Digital/Direct media planning capabilities

- Spearhead new analytic processes and modeling to drive actionable insights

- Manage and mentor a fast growing, diverse team (over 15 members)

- Mange budgeting and resource allocation across clients

- Oversee day-to-day operations of Media Research, Analytics and Campaign Analysis & Reporting

- Represent the Analytics and Insights team in new business efforts

- Administer Media Research/Analytic budget for purchasing syndicated audience research

- Author POVs and research papers on topical media issues





Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Extensive knowledge of digital/direct media and marketing analysis (digital, multi-media preferred)

- Extensive background in interpreting direct response and brand analytics (Dynamic Logic, Insights Express, Buzz Metrics, etc)

- Thorough knowledge of online research sources and survey techniques (Comscore, Nielsen, TNS, Jupiter, eMarketer, MRI, etc)

- Working knowledge of ad serving platforms for targeting and ROI solutions: behavioral and contextual targeting, re-targeting, response optimization, keyword and natural search optimization, etc.

- Excellent writing and presentation skills



Qualifications, Experience:

- MBA preferred, Bachelor -’s degree required

- 10 plus years related work experience

- Demonstrated background in both a quantitative and business leadership area

- Strong familiarity with statistical concepts and methods

- Experience working with SAS experts / outputs

- Experience leading and managing a team
