Description:

My client, a recognized world leader with a unique approach to understanding customer insight and targeting marketing offers in the retail vertical seeks a seasoned analyst with SAS and retail (loyalty) experience (NOT banking).

You will provide shopper / consumer insights that lead to business actions and results, be client-facing and share in the development of strategy and delivery to the client. You will use the right combination of behavioral, research and context data to drive strategy, actions plans and measures for our clients in many areas, such as pricing, promotions, assortment, innovation, local marketing, formats, service and loyalty -– all through a consistent view of the customer.

Specific Responsibilities
- Conduct custom insight studies in their entirety, from project inception and design through preparation and the delivery of reports and presentations.
- Scope and assist in the development of client proposals.
- Query consumer level databases and other data sources with the use of database management software.
- Distill insights from the analysis to offer client ready business recommendations by identifying meaningful consumer indicators and trends.
- Ensure your work is disciplined and that you adhere to our quality control procedures.
- Support the development and launch of new products and services.
- Present your analysis and recommendations to our clients.
- Build relationships with key internal and external clients.

Experience and Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology, Marketing, or Geography.
- A Masters degree is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to query large data sets using database management software using. SQL and SAS.
- Skilled at navigating relational databases.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Client - facing experience..
