Description:

My client, an upscale, well -established dotcom,seeks a Web Analytics Manager who will be responsible for reporting and analyzing website data to optimize acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention efforts. The Web Analytics Manager will proactively identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations based on clickstream data and other online metrics.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and utilize web analytics tools with a high degree of skill and understanding as it relates to web metrics, site analysis, online business and user segmentation
- Create holistic dashboards that drive effective business decision-making
- Provide insights and recommendations to increase site conversion and drive site improvements
- Identify traffic trends, abandonment issues and opportunities for improving site conversion rates
- Conduct A/B and other test plans, analyze results and recommend improvements
- Manage ad hoc reporting requests
- Lead efforts in planning, designing and coordinating analysis projects for the E-Commerce Team to grow the business
- Partner with web analytics vendors to assure proper implementation and ongoing optimization
- Serve as the web analytics advocate, constantly striving to improve skills and capabilities within the web metrics space, as well as pushing knowledge to the larger teams.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor -’s degree
- 3+ years web analytics experience
- Experience with enterprise-level analytics tools (Coremetrics, Omniture WebTrends or Google Analytics)
- Experience with relationship marketing, direct marketing, and e-marketing business practices preferably in a retail environment
- Strong conceptual and creative thinker
- Strong data interpretation and communication skills; ability to summarize complex findings clearly and concisely
- Self-motivated, proactive, disciplined, fast learner and organized. Highly flexible and adapts well to a rapidly changing environment
- Must be detail-oriented
