The Company

The Job
- To work closely with branch colleagues to plan and manage activities to exceed individual sales targets through the provision of suitable advice (on Financial Planning and appropriate Retail products) to customers
- To ensure achievement of regulatory and company compliance standards
- To work with Retail introducers and managers to deliver/enhance customer proposition
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain/develop excellent relationships with lead providers/branch teams
- Provide feedback/coaching to staff in relation to their performance/objectives in a positive and timely manner
- Plan and monitor performance against individual objectives and overall sales targets. Where appropriate, plan and implement remedial actions
- Regularly deliver a robust communication to your branch teams on opportunities, initiatives and results
- Prepare thoroughly and undertake compliant customer interviews in order to recommend and sell suitable Financial Planning products
- Adhere to the company defined sales process, in order to analyse information obtained, prepare recommendations and provide suitable advice
- Ensure all documentation relating to the sales process is completed fully, accurately and timeously
- Actively maintain a broad and detailed technical knowledge in respect of regulations, compliance, products, processes and market awareness
- Prepare and participate fully in all 1:1/development and activities which assist with achieving PDP objectives and retain accurate records of CPD
- Adhere to Fitness & Proprietary requirements and participate fully in all assessment requirements to maintain authorisation
The Person
- FPC3 or CEFA Qualified
- Minimum 6 months post - "Competent Advisory Status”
- Successful sales experience in the financial industry
- Knowledge of general financial services industry and its regulatory requirements
- Ability to relate to a wide range of people, including teams and line managers and demonstrate a range of communication styles
- A successful team player
- Computer literate
- Proven application of compliant sales
- Ability to plan and organise workload and complete paperwork to required standards
- Ability to identify self-development needs and implement skills and knowledge gained
- Driving licence (no more than 6 current points)
- Meets all requirements as laid down in recruitment and referencing criteria
