Dynamic, Fortune 500 level global manufacturer whose brand names are known worldwide has an immediate opening for a Electrical Engineer-High Voltage at a Division Headquarters in the Columbia, SC area. The Electrical Engineer is a high visibility position within a rapidly growing Business Unit in the US. This position's responsibilities include electrical design and project engineering for the supply and/or installation of high voltage underground cables. This includes performance and coordination of system design and reporting, Cost Reduction, and Process Improvements. This position interacts with internal areas of Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing, and other groups.

Requirements:
- BSEE degree or BS in Physics and 2-8 years in the application, design, and/or construction of electrical power systems or equipment experience.

-Problem solving experience in product related projects using Six Sigma and other problem identification and resolution tools.

-You should have a mathematical background and an understanding of electrical power systems.

- Experience in cable design and analysis techniques & methods area a plus.

The candidate must be promotable and mobile with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. MathCAD experience a plus.
