Description:

Our client, fast growing software company, is looking for Support Engineer for their offices in Newton MA. The company is a leading provider of Intelligent Media Caching solutions that enable Network Operators to deliver and accelerate Internet video and other forms of multimedia content.

Job Summary:

Understanding our customer's requirements, challenges, and technology goals will be the foundation of our customer- oriented solutions. Solving our customers' most challenging technology problems and enabling their success will be our mission and passion.

Support Engineer should be capable of designing Networks and solutions, Deploying complex projects, providing high quality of support, testing complex lab scenarios, implementing fixes and fix problems in real life & real-time environments.

Technical Requirements:

Linux proficiency

Excellent skills and experience in deploying and configuring networking products (routers, switches, network management systems, remote accesses devices, etc.)

Working experience in routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, PBR, etc)

Experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting products and application services in large scale ISPs network environment.

Good analytical and communication skills.

Team-oriented, as well as ability to work independently.

Strong client/customer facing abilities, service orientated and able to manage customer issues effectively, with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.

Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel partners & customers, as well as internal personnel.

Previous experience in tier 1 or tier 2 ISPs network environment is an advantage

Previous Support experience – Minimum 2 years.

Presentation skills

Ability to work and answer RFI/RFP technical sections.

Travel requirements (up to 30% and may include weekends)
