Must Have Skills: Minimum 5 years Director experience in a hospital lab setting, • Requires theoretical and practical knowledge of quality control and quality assurance as they relate to Laboratory medicine. • Required Certification: MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA); previously qualified under 42 CFR 493.1472(3/14/90) or fulfill responsibilities under CLIA-88 Holds current Florida Medical Technologist Supervisor license or is eligible to obtain in the following 5 areas:
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Description:

- Requires theoretical and practical knowledge of quality control and quality assurance as they relate to Laboratory medicine.
- Requires exercise of independent judgment with minimum degree of supervision.
- Knowledge involves testing procedures which require high degree of theoretical knowledge and technical expertise in licensed areas.
- Ability to enter and retrieve data from Laboratory Information System.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interaction with the public and medical/nursing personnel.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.

- Lab in 2 Urgent Care Centers and Wound Care Center
