Dartmouth-Hitchcock health care system includes Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and numerous multi-specialty group practices.
Dartmouth is New Hampshire's only academic medical center. Internationally renowned, nationally ranked and regionally respected, they integrate high quality patient care, advanced medical education and research, to provide a full spectrum of health care to patients throughout the northern New England area.

DMHC will be building it's first ambulatory surgical facility and we are seeking a very well experienced ASC Clinical Director / Administrator that has been through the prior development and build-out of a multi-specialty surgical center. The anticipated occupancy date will be mid-2010 but we are interested in hiring the new Clinical Director / Administrator well in advance in approxiamtely August/September of 2009.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking the following credentials and expertise:
* RN, BSN and advanced degree in either nursing, business, finance or healthcare administration;
* Demonstrated clinical competence; strong ability to manage and provide leadership to other clinical managers and staff;
* Nurse executive demeanor, business acumen yet hands-on and open-door personality; a team-builder;
* Must have current ambulatory surgery center or hospital outpatient surgical center experience of at least 5 years;
* Desire a person that comes from a prior background of perioperative department management from within a medium to large hospital or academic environment;
* Someone that feels comfortable and aspires to be involved in an academic environment and appreciates the reporting relationships from an ambulatory department to upper management within an academic health system;
