Lead Radiation Oncology Nurse - Midwest

Partnering with one of the best free-standing Cancer Centers in the country, searching for a Lead Oncology Nurse in Radiation Oncology. This group operates with the highest standards of patient care and new technology.

The Radiation Oncology department currently treats around 65 patients a day on two Varians and one Tomo-Therapy machine. R&V is on Aria as they move towards 100% paperless operations. Special procedures include IGRT, HDR and SRS.

The Radiation Oncology Director has been with this organization for many years. She helps set the team up for success and creates an environment geared towards professional responsibility because micro-managing is not her leadership style. This leader will work with three great Radiation Oncologists. The Medical Director brings excitement and passion to the fight to cure cancer. He is actively involved in the Therapy Community through various boards, task groups and publications.

Position Requirements:
-BSN
-Current Registered Nurse License
-minimum 1 year Oncology experience required, radiation experience preferred
-Oncology Certification preferred
