Vice President Nursing Services - Midwest

Partnering with one of the best free-standing Cancer Centers in the country, searching for a Vice President of Nursing Services for the Cancer Center. This group operates with the highest standards of patient care and new technology.

This is the Flagship facility of a growing multi-site organization. They have a culture that promotes from within and allows for growth in your career path. This position is located in the suburbs of the one of the best cities in the country. There are nearby lakes, sporting events, museums, concerts and other activities.

This VP position will be responsible for all Nursing services in this comprehensive Cancer Center leading 250 indirect reports and 7-10 direct reports. The VP will be a key visible leader and representative for the cancer center in various functions. They will enjoy interfacing with several VP counterparts throughout the country in this growing organization.

This position reports directly to the CEO, who is an excellent leader and has been with this organization for over 15 years and is highly respected in the community.

They recently initiated a new cutting edge team based model of care. Other current projects include Magnet designation and some new Six Sigma Initiatives.

Position Requirements:
-Master -’s Degree in Nursing and/or Business Administration
-Current Registered Nurse License
-10-15 years of experience in Oncology or Medical/Surgical Nursing
-5 years in Hospital Administration
-Oncology Certification preferred
