Must Have Skills: Must have experience and knowledge of re-engineering and redesign as well as Lean, Six Sigma, CQI, TQM methodologies as applied in a healthcare setting.
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Description:

Develop and manage a planning for staffing the facility.

Develop, oversee, and improve daily operations, policies, systems and procedures necessary to support cost reduction and system utilization goals.

Coordinate market medical management business plans

Provide strategic and operational direction for the delivery of performance based medical management

Develop and maintain strong provider relationships

Manage budget

Participate in the management of local profit and loss

Manage risk drivers

Promote positive business relationships

Serve as liaison with regulatory and accrediting agencies and other Health business units

Select and build strong teams through training, diverse assignments, coaching, monitoring, auditing, performance management and other development techniques (may cross multiple business functions)

Analyze and report business performance data to customers and colleagues

Develop and participate in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective customers

Provide appropriate, timely management of complex clinical issues

Direct/provide enhancements to business processes, policies and infrastructure to improve operational efficiency (may cross multiple business functions

Participates in internal and external health industry development efforts

Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures, which meet business needs (may cross multiple business functions)

Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, health services engineering, or business, from an accredited university is required

Minimum 5 years of productivity experience in healthcare or related environment
