Strong growth manufacturer has a challenging opportunity for a Human Resource Generalist. This position supports the Plant & Division Leadership to achieve business targets by managing and maintaining effective HR policies, programs, procedures, and practices. The Human Resources Generalist is a Business Partner to the Operations Leadership of the company, and may career-track to a other Plant, Divisional, or Corporate HR positions.

It develops a positive Employee Relations climate in this organization. The scope of responsibility includes a focus on communications, policies, programs and activities to support the business requirements, team development, internal and government compliance.

Will function as a Plant HR Generalist.

Major Responsibilities:
-Interpret, communicate the interpretation of, and ensure adherence to all provisions of company policies and the labor agreement
-Provide day-to-day knowledge & guidance regarding employment issues.
-Communications--including company newsletter, internal communications, and Company HR website.
-Hourly employee recruiting
-Responsible for compliance with government-mandated procedures (AAP, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, etc.)
-Administer talent management programs and processes to ensure that tools are being used to create value across the organization.
-HRIS system administration.

Requirements:
The successful Candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Human Resources Management) and 2-5 years Human Resources experience in a Manufacturing Plant. A PHR / SPHR designation would be a plus.
