Description:

Strong growth, national manufacturer has challenging opportunity for a Human Resource - Coordinator. This position supports the Plant & Corporate Leadership to achieve business targets by managing and maintaining effective HR policies, programs, procedures, and practices. The Human Resources -Coordinator is a Business Partner to the Operations Leadership of the company, and may career-track to a other Plant, Divisional, or Corporate HR positions. This position is in the Omaha, NE - Western Iowa area.

It develops a positive Employee Relations climate in this organization that has both Union and Non-Union site locations. The scope of responsibility includes a focus on communications, policies, programs and activities to support the business requirements, team development, internal and government compliance. Will function as a HR Generalist. Major Responsibilities:
-Interpret, communicate the interpretation of, and ensure adherence to all provisions of company policies and the labor agreement
-Provide day-to-day knowledge & guidance regarding employment issues including but not limited to corrective action, grievance resolution and other labor/employee relations functions
-Communications--including company newsletter, internal communications, and Company HR website.
-Conduct internal compliance training for both hourly and salaried employees.
-Responsible for compliance with government-mandated procedures (NLRB, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, etc.)
-Administer talent management programs and processes to ensure that tools are being used to create value across the organization. Work closely with managers and employees to encourage practical and meaningful application and utilization of tools and training.
-HRIS system administration.

Requirements:
The successful Candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Human Resources Management), a MBA or MS would be a plus, and 3-5 years HR Generalist experience in a Manufacturing Plant or Corporate HQ environment. Must have demonstrated success in all functional HR areas. A PHR / SPHR designation would be a plus.
