Description:

Dynamic, strong growth global manufacturer has challenging opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Manager within the North American Division's Human Resources Group. This position supports the Corporate Leadership and Plant GMs In the US and Canada to achieve business targets by developing, promoting, implementing, managing and maintaining effective compensation programs, procedures, and practices with a focus on base pay (hourly & salaried), benefits, and creative incentive plans. You will develop long term strategies to ensure the organization is competitive in it's total rewards plan. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administration of all company Benefit and Compensation Programs globally. You will direct the annual salary planning process to ensure that budgets are established, are consistent with the financial performance of the company, and are effective at awarding high performance. This position is a Strategic Business Partner to the Leadership of the North American Division, and may career-track to other Human Resources & Operations positions.

This position is responsible for compensation administration of the Base Pay and Incentive compensation programs, and for the administration and updating of the total North American Compensation System. The scope of responsibility includes job analysis and evaluation, market pricing, surveys, competitive analysis, communications, policies, programs and activities to support the business requirements, team development, internal and government compliance. Major Responsibilities include:
-Interpret, communicate and ensure adherence to all provisions of company policies.
-Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance regarding compensation & benefit issues
-Keeping the corporation's compensation & benefit programs current and priced to the market conditions
-Communications--including company newsletter, internal communications, and Company HR website.
-Administer Compensation Packages within the talent management programs and processes to ensure that tools are being used to create value across the organization.
-Mentor other human resources team members.

Requirements:
The successful Candidate will have a BS Degree (ideally in Accounting or Finance or Human Resources Management), MBA or MS is a plus, a CCP certification is preferred, and 8+ years Compensation & Benefits experience in a Division or Corporate environment. Must have demonstrated success in developing surveys, job analysis, market pricing analysis and creating targeted incentive plans. A PHR / SPHR / CCP designation would be a plus.
