Description:

Division of dynamic, global hard goods manufacturing company has an exceptional opportunity for a Plant Manager to direct and develop the Management Team in their Washington facility. This position will provide leadership that will insure the business plan and plant performance are in alignment with Division and Corporate budgets and plans. It will ensure the plant demonstrates continuous improvement in meeting customer requirements and World Class standards, as well as in maintaining plant operational efficiency through effective labor utilization, scrap reduction, machine design improvement, and material utilization.

Looking for an exceptional strategic business partner to the executive company leadership team!

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing the timely delivery of product to customers, ensuring that all processes and systems are highly efficient and streamlined, initiating capital requests to enhance plant performance, analysis and management of all performance metrics and reporting of results, managing the materials supply chain efficiently, represents the company to customers and suppliers from an operations view, represents the company as a model neighbor to the community.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Management or Engineering(ME); an advanced Degree (MSME or MBA) is preferred. You should have 10-15 years of total experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in Operations at the Plant level is also required. You should possess a thorough grasp of manufacturing activities including quality control, process control, safety, labor relations, leadership and communication skills. Additionally, the selected Candidate will have strong problem identification and solving skills, full comprehension of shop flow control systems and loss reporting systems, and will have the ability to read and interpret highly technical documents. This is a "High volume shop". You should have had documented success at running a $100+ million operation.
