This position is responsible for the operation of the Impingement Ovens associated with production of meat, chicken and other similar products. You will monitor production in the ovens for compliance with plant HACCP and SSOP programs and government programs. This includes providing operators with information, training, and materials to produce products efficiently. Other responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of your assigned area and analysis of routine and non-routine problems and offering solutions to the Plant Manager. You are responsible for the efficient and safe manufacturing of products in a manner that is consistent with company policies and programs. This position helps the company to produce the highest quality products possible. This position requires an understanding and control of the Impingement Ovens production process, accurate record keeping, and general line quality supervision. This position works closely with members of the management team as well as USDA.
Requirements:
This position requires 5+ years of production experience including expertise with the Impingement Ovens processes. Education beyond high school would be a plus. Your promotional track can be very diverse within the plant. Any Slicing or Curing experience is a plus. You should have a general knowledge of production techniques, meat & chicken government regulatory compliance, and Quality Assurance exposure.
