Dynamic global manufacturing company has an immediate opportunity for an innovative, results-oriented Sourcing Specialist (Buyer). This position is the supply market expert for the company in specific categories. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining Sourcing Strategy and Savings Goals, manages the Bidding Process, plans and purchases raw materials, purchases components & MRO products and services, manages Supplier Relationships, and being the driving influence to continually improve the Company's cost position.

Duties include Cost Plan development and implementation; supply base development, performance tracking and reporting. You will maintain an adequate supply of steel/aluminum inventory to support manufacturing, utilize domestic & global sourcing techniques to achieve the best price, delivery, and quality. You will implement strategic sourcing and drive improvements in supplier quality, delivery, and cost.

Requirements:
The successful Candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, a strong Technical aptitude, 2+ years of experience purchasing Goods and Services with a domestic & global focus for multi-manufacturing sites, ability to read blueprints, (both metric & English) and an ability to plan and organize multiple activities concurrently. You should have experience in cross-functional, multi facility purchasing departments. You should have MRP planning experience and be proficient in Excel. You should have experience measuring and improving supplier performance.

CPM, APICS, ISM, or NAPM Certification is a plus. Any SAP experience would be a plus. The company offers Base Salary of $50-65k , relocation assistance, and strong career growth potential.
