The Slingshot Group www.slingshotgroup.net is partnering with St. Mark’s Church in search of a Communications Director to join the team. SMC is a healthy, thriving church that has embraced 21st century technology and methods to communicate God’s Word and build strong relationships among its church body and beyond. Numbering approximately 1800 in weekly attendance, it enjoys great momentum and “critical mass” in its 3 services that meet in a high-tech 1100-seat auditorium. They embrace the arts wholeheartedly, including a band-driven worship environment featuring visual media and, on occasion, other performing arts elements. Their thematic approach to programming is not “over the top” but keeps the elements congruent to teaching that is relevant, engaging and biblical.
