Must Have Skills: BS in engineering or related field. 10 years total experience in a technical environment, with 6 years of experience working as a product manager in a communications-related electronics environment. Demonstrated success in launching new products into the market. Background is desired in engineering, program management, and business development.
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Description:

The Product Management Director will be responsible for all standard product planning, development, and life cycle management for the business unit (as opposed to custom development programs).
Responsible for planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product, market, and customer requirements, defining product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and other support groups to insure that revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction expectations are met.
Insure that the products support the company's overall business environment and strategy.
Expected to define the overall product strategy and develop roadmaps for each product type.
Develop investment plans for each product to continuously upgrade products to meet market-driven demands.
Work with third parties to develop teaming strategies and license agreements.
Become an expert with respect to the competitive environment.
Supervise the product management group, which at present includes the business unit customer service team.
Operate independently and make proactive decisions affecting product development.
Establish a representative/distribution network for products.
Make all advertising and marketing material current and available ' manage material generation inputs from engineering.
TS/SCI clearance desired, current Secret level or higher clearance required, with ability to get TS/SCI. Able to travel at least 25% of the time.
