What you will learn:
- Experience in Web-service development and cloud-based solutions

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Utilize your technical design, algorithm design, and programming skills to create and maintain customer-facing Web applications, automation, Web-services, and related technologies
- Work with a multifaceted team on user experience and system design, scalability, security, configurability, and release
- Assist in the planning of and estimation for software projects
- Research, gather, and share technical information from a wide variety of sources to enhance solutions, and make recommendations for the use of new technologies and technical strategies

Responsiblities:
- A bachelor -’s degree from an accredited institution, or the equivalent
- Three-plus years of software development experience, including coding and debugging
- Proficiency in at least one high-level language (C#, C++,Java, PHP)
- Knowledge of Web standards such as CSS and XML
- Experience with at least one major database platform
- Experience with RIA or javascript frameworks (jquery, mootools...)
- A working knowledge of SVN or other version control solutions
- Experience with agile methods
- The ability to work in a team or independently
- A willingness to learn and use new technologies, strategies, tools, and components
- Strong written and verbal skills

Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of service oriented architectures
- A grasp of data replication, clustering, and/or partitioning strategies
- Some knowledge of systems administration on Unix or Windows
- Experience in Web-service development and cloud-based solutions
- Experience in security and performance tuning of web applications
