Audio Video Engineer

CONEXiS is a customer-focused Technology Solutions firm based in Irvine, CA. We provide our customers with the right people, technology and professional services to solve the most complex business and technology problems. We consult with our customers to identify areas where IT support is required, and then work with them to supply them with the optimal resources that will help them to achieve those goals.

Primary skills include:
- Structured cabling, mounting of flat panel displays, projectors, and speaker systems.
- Experienced with up to CAT 5 cable fiber optics a plus.
- Understanding the theory of signal flow, capable of technical troubleshooting, excellent problem solving skills
- Build out of Racks, Quality control check prior to shipping and installation once on job site.
- Programming of Crestron or AMX control panels a plus.
- Commissioning and programming of installed systems - (Key skill set)
- Read blue prints (electrical and building)
- Strong troubleshooting, system testing, and ability to “hit the ground running"
- Knowledge and experience with hand tools, various power tools and PC skills (Windows, Visio)
- Exhibits professional image to the customer and general public
- Performs related duties assigned by project manager with the ability to direct installers on-site
- Assist in the installation of low voltage cabling for Audio and Video equipment
- Ability to produce good documentation & project management skills


Required Skills and Experience:
Crestron Programmer, Commercial Audio and Video Systems, Polycom, Audio, Video

- 3 Years or more experience in the field programming commercial audio/video products, including calibration of audio and video components to suit the clients’ environment.
- At least Intermediate to Advanced Crestron programming skills.
- Computer proficiency-Windows, Office, Visio
- Superior interpersonal skills for communication with colleagues & clients
- Experience reading wiring diagrams and system design drawings
- Strong troubleshooting, system testing, and good ability to think on your feet
- Ability to produce good documentation & project management skills
- Flexible schedule
- Minor and occasional travel may be required (Approximately 2-3 days a month)
