Description:

We are looking for a SharePoint Architect with a senior level of SharePoint Developer/Architect experience.
Essential Job Functions:

* Building Intranet portals and collaboration solution using MS SharePoint
* Converting existing content, sites, and services into SharePoint 2007
* Building features, web parts, etc. for SharePoint
* Integrating the portal with other corporate data sources, applications, and knowledge management systems
* Utilizing experience working within structured development lifecycle and methodology, APIs, and related SharePoint products and technologies
* Implementation and integration of SharePoint Reporting functions and document management
* Collaborates with team members; sharing development responsibility and work with members of diverse technical and business teams
* Proven team leader capabilities and ability to provide mentorship to team members

Knowledge/Skills Required:

* Technically proficient with superior .NET and SharePoint development experience
* Ten or more years of IT industry experience consists of 3 or more years of strong SharePoint development experience with exceptional design/architecture experience
* Strong Web development skills (HTML, DHTML, CSS, etc.)
* Some level of expertise in following technology areas: SOAP, XML, and SQL
* Expert level knowledge in the administration, configuration, and customization of SharePoint Portal Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services
* SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Implementation and deployment experience including creation of custom web parts
* Experience in the implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools (Forums/Issues, Lists, etc.) and ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools
* Experience with Application Architecture Design, Information Architecture Definition, Java/J2EE Architectures, LDAP/User Management Systems, Document Management Systems, and strong database skills
* Experience with Customization of templates and development of new templates
* Experience with InfoPath Forms Design and XML
* Ability to architect a technical solution including detailed written/visual documentation with strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent consulting skills and ability to work effectively with end users and team members
* Self-motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision
