Must Have Skills: MUST have at least 5+ years of Java/J2EE Development experience, primarily on Linux for large-scale, Internet/Web-based/eCommerce high volume applications/systems MUST have recent experience development experience utilizing JEE 5 or JEE 6 (J2SE 5.0 or Java SE 6) MUST have experience developing for Spring 2.0 (or greater) and Hibernate 3.1 (or greater)

Description:

A very profitable global pre-IPO internet company is looking for a Sr. Java Engineers. The company has been in business for 7+ years, has been profitable for 4+ years, is doing business internationally, is expanding and has a total of 250+ employees (50+ Technology staff).

The Sr. Java Engineer will work along side and with extremely intelligent and bright engineers in designing, building and developing large, scalable, high volume internet based customer facing systems utilizing JEE (JDK 1.5/1.6). The company is in the early stages of re-designing, re-architecting and developing major portions of their systems from the presentation layer to the backend. The Sr. Java developer will participate in the full life cycle development process consisting of review of OO architecture documentation, OO java development, testing process, deployment, enhancement and documentation. The Architecture is based on Spring 2.5 and Hibernate 3.2 frameworks. The Sr. Java developer will be responsible for full life cycle development utilizing JDK 1.5/1.6 on RedHat Linux utilizing VI or emac editors; JSP, AJAX, DOJO, CSS, GWT and jQuery for presentation layer; design, development and deployment of Java on WebLogic Application servers and connectivity to large high volume Oracle 10g database systems. The company is currently applying bleeding edge technology such as Web 2.0, SOAP, REST, JAX-WS, RPC, Spring Remoting, Hadoop, Mule, Cloud Computing, Jetty Web Server and EDA (Event-Driven Architecture).
The Sr. Java Developer will report to the Development Manager of this elite team.
