Description:

Mastech Inc, a leading provider of Information Technology services, is currently seeking a Developer. We offer a competitive compensation package and many growing opportunities. This is a contract-to-hire position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6 months
Location: Fort Knox, KY/ Zip Code: 48125
Compensation: $45 - $55/ Hourly

Role: Developer

Role Description: The Developer would need to have at least 2 years of experience. This Candidate’s primary responsibilities would be to capture/ document requirements, design, develop, test, and maintain business intelligence and dashboard solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Researching, evaluating, and staying current on emerging BI tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Mentoring team members on new technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
- Acting as a top level technical expert for performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications.

Required Skills:

- Design, build, and maintain highly-optimized data warehouse ETL processes.
- Experience with predictive modeling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UNIX environments.
- Experience with Hyperion Interactive Reporting/Production Reporting or Essbase.
- Military and/or Recruiting experience.

Technical Requirements:

- BS in Computer Science or has equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of development experience using Oracle's Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- 2 years of experience with Data warehousing/Data Modeling/Data Analysis experience.
- 2 years of experience with Sybase, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Essential Non-Technical Requirements:

- Strong written and verbal communications.
- Strong work ethic.
- Strong client facing skills.
- Ability to collaborate with other engineers and teams on key BI technology projects.
- Ability to work in small, rapid-development teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree (Required)/ MBA (Desired)
