Mastech Inc is a growing company dedicated to innovation and teamwork. We are currently seeking a Configuration Management/ Build Release Engineer (Junior) for our client in the Healthcare domain. This is a contract-to-hire position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Compensation: $35/ Hourly

Role: Configuration Management/ Build Release Engineer (Junior)

Role Description: The Configuration Management/ Build Release Engineer (Junior) would need to have at least a year's experience. This Candidate would communicate with the Business Users and other Developers to resolve production problems, and develop new programs from documented business requirements and fill out proper documentation for the release management.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and merge Source Code (Starteam) for Release, Patches, and emergency fixes.
- Process security requests from the Help Desk and update appropriate non production DB.
- Apply PL/SQL release changes to non development and production database for five time zone regions.
- Apply Virus Patches on Operating Systems during weekends (that are) applied to development and production servers.
- Develops Block Diagrams and Logic Flow charts.
- Translates Detailed Design into computer software.
- Supports testing, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product.
- Helps prepare both program-level and user-level documentation.
- Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
- Deliver changes that meet requirements within cost and on a timely basis.

Required Technical Skills:

- 4 to 6 years of experience in Client/Server Applications Development.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Visual Studio.
- Should have 4 to 6 years of experience in .Net C# (C Sharp), Oracle, ASP.Net, Star Team, and Visual Basic.
- Should have experience in Version Control, Source Control (Source) or Code Management (SCM) Software Systems.
- Heavy documentation experience.
- Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Familiar with Relational Database concepts and Client-Server concepts.
- Must have strong communication skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Required)/ MBA (Desired)
