Our client is a national retailer that specializes in brand-name clothing as well as home items.
Summary:
We are looking for a Network Specialist who can provide a high-level network, PC and software application support for all corporate and remote users. The IT candidate will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills. The desired candidate must be motivated and able to work in a strong team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Desktop, laptop, server, printer and software application support
- Maintenance on all corporate and remote systems
- Blackberry Enterprise server
- Microsoft Active directory
- Outlook and Exchange 2003/2007
- Maintain and troubleshoot network protocols and services
- Daily backups and offsite tape rotation
- Virus and service pack updates
- Monitor and troubleshoot all LAN and WAN issues
- Document and track all issues to ensure a timely resolution
- Phone system hardware and software
- Configure servers and PC’s for deployment
Required Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Microsoft and Cisco certifications is a plus.
- Must possess strong technical skills with Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange 2003/2007, DNS, DHCP, WINS and VERITAS Backup Exec.
- Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft networking and desktop operating systems, Microsoft office application and Microsoft Exchange
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills DB backup experience
- WAN/LAN architecture knowledge
