This position is responsible for leading projects to address business requirements and enhancements through design and implementation of SAP solutions and/or integration with non-SAP solutions.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology or equivalent work experience.
8 Years of experience as an IT analyst for an ERP or highly interrogated software system.
5 Years of SAP HR/Payroll experience with excellent cross-functional experience in other modules.
Experience with SAP 6.0 required.
Technical training in SAP and/or Project Management is required.
Additional Requirements :
Experience with design and development in the US Payroll and Time Management module, with project experience in other HR areas, such as PA, OM, and Benefits. Experienced in both SAP implementations and sustaining support using SAP best practices and ASAP Methodology. Excellent working knowledge of SAP IMG and configuration tasks in regards to US Payroll and HR that include BSI Tub updates, US Taxes, payroll schema's and rules. Familiarity with MS Office suite products. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business teams. Good project management techniques are required, operating as part of a team organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation. Broad conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies. Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
Responsibilities :
Lead projects to address business requirements and enhancements through design and implementation of SAP solutions and/or integration with non-SAP solutions
Work with business process team members (technical and basis) and subject matter experts (end users) to produce requirements and design documents.
Develop technical and business relationships and integrates activities with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
Perform functional testing to assure that business requirements are being met while following technical standards.
Interact with program management, functional and technical team leads, ABAP team members, Basis (system administration), and business process team members.
Participate in support/enhancement packs and system upgrades as needed.
Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
Work with end-users to trouble shoot application issues or problems and recommend sound business solutions.
Participate with other IT members, customers, and other stakeholders in new product reviews, tests and pilots.
Foster and maintain good relationships with customer and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
Possess good coaching and consulting skills.
Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery or satisfactory application development and/or support.
