Description:

Designs, develops, deploys, and supports software components/projects in a Microsoft .Net environment for internet, intranet and Win32 client platforms. Works with all levels of the organization to gather, analyze and fully understand business requirements/processes, produce system documentation, and quickly produce high-quality code within the .Net architecture. Debugs and tests new software or significant enhancements to existing software applications, typically on VB and SQL platforms

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree in an Information Technology or related field or equivalent May substitute work experience for formal degree. Training in computer equipment and software required. May substitute additional experience with computers for formal training.

Experience Minimum: 5 years of job related experience in a software development role with responsibility for the analysis, design, development and maintenance of a variety of software applications. A minimum of 3 years experience in Web-based development of .Net applications. Design and development experience should include client/server and web (interanet and internet). Strong oral and written communication skills. Project management skills (assessing, planning, documenting, reporting and evaluation). VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Visual Studio.Net, VB6.0, C++/C#, SQL server development and administration, Web services administration, XML/XSL, HTML, Java, JavaScript, and Active Directory. Basic understanding of LAN/WAN protocos (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP). Strong people skills, A team player. Effective organizational and time management skills, able to multi-task. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to execute responsibilities in a dynamic, sometimes stressful environment with frequently changing priorities.
