Description:

Our client is looking for experienced Developers to provide technical and thought leadership in support of several key web application development projects. Developers will be expected to design and develop Java/ATG software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment. They will lead the development of critical projects and should take complete ownership of the technical solution and develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules.

Description of Duties:

- Deep understanding of Object Oriented design
- Develop high-level and detailed technical design.
- Create in-depth specifications to meet user requirements
- Gather and analyze business requirements and develop systems requirement specifications.
- Support the development of large eCommerce related projects
- Develop commercial web applications (ATG application server, content management personalization engine, B2C commerce platform, Search) with custom code
- Perform full software lifecycle development
- Utilize commercial tools to create scalable, complex, and transactional web sites

Skills/Qualifications:

- 5+ years defining, designing, and developing for the eCommerce platform. ATG Experience helpful
- Architecture implementation / customization / deployment
- Experience building eCommerce solutions
- Web Services development experience (e.g. SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI)
- Experience with popular Java IDEs (Eclipse/WSAD)
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
