Description:

Tester 3 More than 5 years experience. Development of Automated tests to verify requirements compliance of the various core subsystem of a wireless network. Fault Isolation to correctly determine cause of test failures to the subsystem level or below. Integrate software and hardware from multiple subsystems within the wireless network using tools provided such as Java, Perl, TCL, Expect, Unix. Ability to design, write, and maintain simulators, log parsers, and automated tests in Java or Perl, etc. Should have an understanding of protocol stacks, core network nodes. An understanding of billing systems desired. Knowledge and experience in database design is an asset. Ability to develop automated GUI test is an asset. Familiarity with J2EE, JSP, JAVA, HTML and SQL as a GUI tester. Automation tools like Test Director, Win Runner, and Load Runner Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proficiency in Manual Testing and Automated Testing on client/server and web-based applications and different phases of testing (Black Box testing QA Methodologies, Integration Testing, and System Testing). Ability to interact with developers and product analysts regarding test status and defect tracking. Ability to design and implement a test setup., i.e. set up a lab. Good communication skills, both oral and written
