Description:

Summary and Scope:
Design and write code in C, C++ for a series of software tools to provision modems for factory replication. Verify the provisioned image assembly and allow for customization of the image. Communicate with engineering team, program managers, operations fulfillment, and technical account managers. Support product to customers.

We need a problem solver with excellent low level programming in C/C++, XML programming, Win 32, automated firmware updates, WIFI, and web services experience to create a cutting edge 3G device solution for Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.

Qualifications:
Strong debugging and programming skills, ability to interact with firmware team, and overall good work attitude. Must have worked in provisioning, factory support tools, or in data-driven software systems. Some experience in either middleware, manufacturing systems, software synchronization, or automated testing desired.
- Five years writing and maintaining solid (C/C++) code for Windows development and debugging experience.
- Five years Windows development and debugging experience.
- Three years embedded devices, USB products or wireless modems.

Required Knowledge
- Familiar with software diagnostic, installer, and updating techniques with a strong desire to take on complex commercial technology challenges.
- Demonstrated examples of robust solid software, and implemented code reuse libraries.
- Strong debugging and programming skills, ability to interact with firmware team, and overall good work attitude.
- Familiar with methods of software designs that parse XML.
- Process knowledge of SQL, Database, 3 tier and data-driven solutions.
- Working knowledge of EVDO, HSPA, USB Drivers, InstallShield, Wi-Fi and Ethernet communication and network protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, write necessary technical documentation, and communicate well with staff.

Desired Experience
- Two years of Linux/Unix skills is desired.

Minimum Requirements:
2 years of experience working with RTOS embedded environment or class work relating to job function.

Education:
BS/MS degree in EE/CE/CS disciplines

Special Requirements:
Possible annual trip to China, Korea, or other international factories.
